This chapel, the work of Filippo Brunelleschi, is one of the examples of the rigorous architecture of the Renaissance. Its construction was begun between 1429 and 1430 for Andrea de Pazzi.But the work, due to economic difficulties, then slowed to the point that it was not completed until 1470.
