Andrea Verrocchio and Baccio da Montelupo at the Orsanmichele church in Florence

Donatello and Michelozzo created the tabernacle of the merchant court in the Orsanmichele church.

The statue of Saint Ludovico of Toulouse, made for the Guelph clan, was later removed and replaced by Andrea Verrocchio's “The Incredulity of Saint Thomas”.

The statue of Saint Ludovico of Toulouse can now be seen in the museum of the church of Santa Croce.

In 1515, Baccio da Montelupo created a bronze statue of St John the Evangelist for the silk and goldsmiths guilds. The tabernacle by Andrea Pisano dates from 1340.
