Nanni di Banco at the Orsanmichele church in Florence

The sculptor Nanni di Banco created two sculptures and their tabernacles for the church of Orsanmichele.

The first depicts the Four Crowned Saints, marble statues and a tabernacle created in 1409-1417 for the guild of stonemasons and carpenters.

In 1421, Nanni di Banco also sculpted a marble statue of Saint Éloi and its tabernacle for the guild of blacksmiths and farriers.
