The Portraits of the Medici at the Ufizzi Gallery in Florence
In a venue such as the Ufizzi Gallery, which would not exist without the Medici family and in which it would not be possible to see the majority of the works of art on display, it was only right that a place should be reserved for the portraits of the family members, starting with Cosimo the Elder, who did so much for the arts in Florence.
