No Backpacks and large objects inside the Accademia
The museum does not have cloakrooms.
As a result of security measures, you will not be allowed to enter the museum if you have a backpack or luggage of too large size, nor will you enter with a helmet and other bulky items.
However, you can enter with a water bottle with a maximum capacity of half a litre, which we recommend because there are no cafeteria or vending machines inside the museum.
